Could leak during brewing if not pressed correctly (coffee and coffee container handle), advisable to have a cup in place at all times for the leaks after brewing but nevertheless is a nice toy that produces a very good quality coffee and also stunning design.

the machine looks good but does not meet the standards of a good espresso machine at all.
It is very messy, and dribles down the espresso handle when you switch the button to steam. The trick is not to add the coffee when using the steamer.

I would like to keep it because of its good look, but for the price i paid i could buy some nicer deco item.

This retro coffee maker was a wedding gift along with the red patissier and we love them both, they work well and look great in our new kitchen, I imagine by the look of them that they will last forever.

I have a small problem...We don´t have the same points in Sweden!! (I´m not sure about tha name, wallplug?) So that have caused me a lot of problem.

I bought this product, partly on the looks, the reasonable price and decent reviews considering the price.
I am slightly religious with my coffee. I recently changed from drinking French "presso" coffee to espresso. I can not live without coffee, but would rather die than drink really bad quality. I start my day with espresso and when having the time to choose, I'll have 3 doubles!:-D

I am more than satisfied with the performance and quality of the product. Perfect for making an espresso for the connoisseur to enjoy. To find something negative, a bigger coffee filter could allow for making two double espressos in parallel, but this is a feature more commonly found in professional or "bigger" machines. I do not taint my espresso with milk, but have made lattes and macchiatos for very satisfied friends. I can not judge on the quality of the milk foaming feature, since I am not interested in it, but it does indeed work.

I would recommend this product to anyone on a restricted budget, but still wanting to enjoy well made espresso. The machine is better of making espresso to one connoisseur or the smaller group of epicures then spitting out coffee for the larger dinner company.
Make sure to buy high quality beans. The machine will show the difference. It makes a huge crema and I recommend "oro" quality or better(more arabica), at least for pure espressos.

Apart its magnificent design and colour, this coffee machine makes really great coffee. Its easy to use and clean too - a great buy.
