Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have used Philips electric razors now for 35 years and find the Quadra range (which I have used before) the best they have ever produced.I use the HQ7850 razor on a daily basis and find it provides a really smooth and excellent shave.
I only have one small complaint relating to the initial charging process, which had to be undertaken in segments of 7 minutes,(although this might have been a problem with my particular razor). However, this would not prevent me from buying another one. As a post script I recently tried the Smart Touch XL series(HQ9100) which I have to say was a real letdown and not a patch on the Quadra range.
