I used my last FP108 on an almost daily basis until the drive belt broke. It was not economical to replace this. Apart from that the main blade was sharpened occasionally (professionally to maintain balance).

As an asian cook - we aren't renound for using techie stuff in the kitchen.
But this little helper has saved me hours over the week and allowed me to make fresh dough daily.
If your getting on a little - then i suggest this to be a useful tool to help save that extra time and energy.

I use mine mainly for blitzing ingredients for soups. It's perfect. Compact does not mean slow or less powerful in this case!
