It was to replace one that I loved but you could not keep the lid on so residue was everywhere in the kitchen. Very pleased with it but we do not use it that often maybe only once a week.

We purchased our first DF380 deep fryer in 2000 and had constant use of it for the last 7 to 8 years. Although it has not broken down yet, this Christmas we decided to treat ourselves to a new DF380 to replace it.

The only modification we would like to see is for the lid to close without using the basket, so that we can deep fry without the basket. We are perfectly happy with the fryer even without this feature.
