I bought the fryer because it can be taken apart and cleaned. Having had a regular type deep fryer before that got very heavily coated in oil that is difficult to remove.
The results are really very good and it can be used for things other than chips (french frys)
you get exactly what is says on the tin!

It was easy and convenient when frying. I did not have the problem of oil splashing every where and a oily cooker to clean. What I liked about it most is that it can taken apart and cleaned quite easily. Also, because of it's oblonged shape it can be nicely stored away.

Should have bought a bigger model. Difficult to fry a good sized fish portion

A have must for any family kitchen, You can pay double but not get the same great results fron this no nonsense product.
