Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Excellent trimmer! All the different parts get easily exchanged within seconds and you can treat your beard like a professional if you use them correctly. The stand is very convenient as well keeping everything tidy. The only thing it lacks is the vacuum sanction function that some other models have as it helps keeping the place where you shave less messy. But, of course, if it had vacuum it wouldn't have been so small and lightweight.
