I am really surprised that an iron can be that good. My Mum bought a different iron at the same time, now she is sending hers back and getting one like mine. Mine has a better dial than hers (who would have ever bothered to check), my water reservoir is much easier to fill. And it is SO so smooth. It's only an iron, but I really like it!

It is the best iron I have ever had. A friend did some ironing for me and immediately asked me how much it cost because she wanted one too. Ironing becomes almost a pleasure.

Bought as recommnded by "which". Good, smooth, quiet iron. Others have commented that it is heavey, but not noticibly heavier than my old one. Good steam, easy to use.

This is a Which Magazine recommended iron that is now hard to find. Bags of steam. Quite heavy but that helps do the job ! A nice 3m mains lead is useful. Not for you if you have a thing about pink.

Has a very good performance for steam ironing and is easy to use. Is perhaps a little heavier than I have been used to although this probably helps get a good finish.

The long flex is really useful. Slightly heavier than other irons, however you soon get used to it.

This iron replaced our old iron that while it did the job, was slow to heat up and leaked! I specifically bought this one as it was shown as a 'best buy' by a well known consumer group. It heats up very quickly, is very smooth and ironing, while still a chore, is completed quicker and with less hassle. The long lead was a pleasant surprise and means I now have a choice of ironing locations in the house. Highly recommended.
