This is a good little iron which heats up extremely fast. However, the electric lead is whoefully too short and an extension cable will be required in many cases. Why the manufacturers have spoilt such a good product by trying to economise on electric cable defeats me - I would rather have paid a little bit more for a longer lead.

I prefer dry irons to steam and this fitted the bill exactly. Very stylish old fashioned look about it. Heats up very quick and very good for ironing shirts - not quite so good on thick cotton as it is not heavy enough. But I am pleased with it.

Has a pointed nose so very good for patchwork using small pieces and difficult seams. Is light enough to carry to workshops.
