i iron for a buisness so i iron for hours every day i have always used tefal and i have never been let down. I will only buy irons that can be refilled whilst it still hot, maybe you think these irons expensive after having a steam generator you will never go back to a normal steam iron, they are great...

I am really happy with this iron. I have had a Tefal Steam iron for the last six years and was devastated when it went wrong. This iron is not as powerful steam wise as my last one, that was more like a pressure cooker type. However, I am more inclined to let the children have a go now, so certainly has it's up side! However, it gets through the ironing pile so quickly I am done before they are up!

This product is superb! Bought as a replacement for a previous model, 15 years old - it is so much more refined and effective and cuts my ironing time in half. It also looks good! It is a larger footprint than the previous one but fits nicely in my cupboard.

Best steam generating irom I have used so far for ease of use and quality of ironing, and wih a family of 6 it gets a thorough workout. It is far better than more expensive models.
The only downside is that the water reservoir does not detach, but this minor inconvenience is more than made up by its advantages.

Because I have two little ones I needed an iron that will perform without any gimmicks and this Tefal model has giving me that. The fact that it heats up in just few minutes allows me to get on with things without having to waste time waiting around and the system to add the water as it runs out is excellent. I found this iron very easy to use and clean and the simple storage is a plus. I highly recommend it to any busy person who doesn’t want to be waiting around and looks for high performance with their ironing.

This is the first steam generator iron i've purchased, it was recommended by a friend and certainly lived up to my expectations. It has saved me so much time especially now there is no need to iron boths side of clothing - including jeans!!! The only downside is that the water reservoir is not detachable.

it's a bit heavy whe it comes to emptying the tank but at the same time it's great not having to refill it every so often,giving you 2 hours solid of ironing.my friend recommended it to me and I recommend it to everyone now.

I had a Tefal steam generator iron for years and needed a second one for use in another house. I bought a more expensive model which has an easier system for filling than the older one. Both work well. This model allows for simpler postioning of the iron when not in use. My older model left the iron upright - more compact, but it has a locator device to keep it steady which if you don't click it in correctly allows the iron to fall over.
The best thing about the Tefal is the non stick plate and is why I would never buy another make. I used to have - well I still have, but never use it - a Rowenta. The plate on this needed cleaning with a chemical stick after each use. Well made iron, "Which?" (UK consumer magazine) best buy, but just unuseable.
So I would wholeheartedly recommend the Tefal, but I would go for the cheaper model, which is just as good for most people unless you are a professional ironer (if that is a word).

This iron is a dream - I wish I had owned it when I had a husband and three sons still living at home!!!
It heats FAST....it feels light and comfy....and it looks really swish,,,I often leave it out longer than usual after I've finished with it in case someone calls in (how vain)and they never fail to mention how good it looks and are always impressed with your keen price

Because their is no water reservoir on the iron, the iron is lighter and therefore easier too use. Ironing cotton shirts use to be a real pain and would take ages, sometimes with poor results. With this iron its in half the time and the results are so much better.

Read many reviews and decided this tefal was best for me. I have not been disappointed! Best purchase and wonderful timesaver! I cannot stress this enough. Don't waste anymore time thinking about buying one, just do it!

Great for ironing bedding etc for our holiday cottage. As it is quite bulky it isn't worth getting out for just a couple of items.

This is probably the third Tefal steam iron I've purchased, but through no fault of Tefal.
Make sure that a strong ironing board is used, with good ventilation, and if you must put the iron on the board, use a board with a large surface area on which to place the iron.
These irons are great until dropped!

i use and change domestic helper every now and then, none of them was good in doing everything. at least now i know they would be good in doing ironing.
as my last steam iron of another brand was ruined by hard water, i am still waiting to be convinced with this one.

I don't like ironing and would always put it off or only iron if I really had to. I bought this iron when my regular iron stopped working and I'm glad I did. It makes a job I hate really easy and quick and not so much of a chore.

Good capacity resevoir and that it can be filled without cooling.
Tap water can be used rather than buying costly distilled water.

its brilliant didnt realise how effective this product was,a remarkable difference from the normal everyday irons.highly recommendable,only downside is that it doesnt fit to the shape of the iron holder on the ironing board but that is not a serious issue.easy to use and store

My wife had knee surgery before christmas so I've been on kitchen duties for tne past five weeks. We were forever filling up our previous iron with water, sometimes pouring it all over the ironing board! I looked for an iron with a large water capacity and went for the TEFAL GV7150, I've been really pleased with this product as it's simple to use and you only used steam on the parts that need it, by using the trigger. Haven't let my wife have a go yet as I'm having fun trying to see how quickly I can go! it,s a lot quicker than conventional ironing. [...]

You can fill the tank and leave on the floor rather than having the whole thing on the ironing board.

It is amazing how quickly this iron heats up compared with other steam generator irons we have had in the past. The easy store cord system also means it does not look a sight when not in use

This is the second tefal steam generator iron i've used and both have been great. the only reason why i had to buy a new one was because i moved out of home and had to get my own!!

This is my first generator and i'm really pleased with. The price[...] makes this a really good value iron. only negatives, need to be careful as it is very heavy compared to a standard iron,foolishly tried to adjust my ironing board hieght with the generator still on the board and nearly dropped the lot, also a little cumbersome if you want to just do one item. overall if looking for a generator would recommend.

Ironing has never been so easy. This product cuts ironing time dramatically. Now it is not a chore. In fact the ironing doesn't pile up any more because I can't wait to use it. The only thing to be aware of is getting your non ironing hand out of the way quick enough from the clothing so as not to get a shot of hot steam on it. You soon learn though! Worth every penny!!!

The iron works very well when ironing sheets quicker than our old iron, simple to use. Works well with a generator ironing board. No downsides with this iron.

I chose this product for the soleplate, easy cord system, cord and cable tidy and handle carry. All of which I have not been dissapointed with. These steam generator irons are much more effective than ordinary steam irons but are bulky and heavy. This iron is one of the more compact examples.
