This kettle looks great in the kitchen, but...
The lid leaks steam which scalds your hand when the kettle is boiling - very dangerous. The lid is also very flimsy, our last kettle had the same type of lid which broke within a few weeks of purchase (I didn't realise they were the same make when I bought this one!).
The water level indicator is useless, its too small to see. You would be better filling the kettle by removing the lid and seeing how much water is inside, but I daren't as I think the lid will break if I use it repeatedly. This leaves me with no option but to fill through the spout, which is too narrow to do this properly.
Over all I like how the kettle looks, but would certainly NOT recommend it.

The only downside i can think of is that the kettle is quite heavy,for people with weak wrists i wouldn't advise.But for me this kettle is great you can still have a conversation while it is boiling!it is very quiet.I heard some reports of things going wrong and paint peeling and chipping off before i bought this kettle,but i really liked it so i went ahead and bought it,and it's the best kettle i have had and it looks great too!!.
