Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Have just bought a second one for my diabetic Dad in the hope that we can create some good sugar free desserts. However, I bought the first one for GCSE students to use in school and not only did it create some fabulous icecreams it stood up to the knocks pretty well. Only downside was the lid seems prone to damage due to its delecate design.
