I bought this wok to replace a dead one. Firstly I bought a much dearer stainless steel wok but that had a flimsy metal lid, a flat bottom and sharp corners where the bottom met the sides (it wasn't a smooth transition from bottom to sides) and rivets for the handles that came through the sides making an uneven difficult to clean surface. This wok has been in use for a couple of years onnce or twice a week but it has also now died. However, I am about to buy another.

THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT, HEATS UP VERY FAST AND MAINTAINS ITS HEAT AT THE CORRECT TEMPERATURE,I BOUGHT IT PRINCIPLY FOR STIR-FRYS AND I CAN SAY THAT I AM NOT DISSAPOINTED. RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Excellent for large stirfrys. The temperature control is a basic dial and could be more sensitive. It's often too hot then when adjusted, too cold, and is tricky to get right consistently.

Loved this so much have bought 1 for a wedding present for my daughter. Best wok I have ever used. Have had dearer products in the past but they don't compare to this one.
