well when i recieved it i didnt try it i gave it as a present to someone and it wouldnt work i think it is faulty . am waiting to get it back so that electricshopping can fix the problem

I had a Tefal iron already, but this is far better, more powerful. The price on this site was incredible, and I love the handle to take it around, also like the fact that you can take the tank off and fill it under the tap. Only issue I have got is with the rewind of the cable system, which does not seam to work that well.

I suffer from shoulder problems and find this product a great help. The steam is powerful and therefore makes ironing easier and the fact that there is no water in the actual iron makes it lighter to handle.

Well worth buying as this one of the most powerful (5bar) steam generator on the market. Makes ironing virtually effortless and fast. The finished clothes look like they been professionally laundered. Only small criticism the water tank could be a little larger but very easy to fill.

Bought to replace a Tefal pro 2500 which died after 12 years long service.Will never go back to a normal iron again.Worth every penny.This model is very noisy compared to the last but that is my only gripe.

I previously owned a Laurastar which is definitely superior. This iron is better than the non-generator irons but is certainly not the best in the market. It does not generate enough steam to iron out dry clothes, and its light weight makes it less effective.

Typical top of the range Tefal product. Its about the 6th one we have had. What made the difference was that purchasing from Electricshopping.com was really easy and the best price we could find.

The large size of the base unit was a surprise, but it is not a detriment. Definitely an improvement on conventional steam irons. The safety shield would be useful to people with young children.

I wanted a new iron as my old one (a Tefal) had finally given up the ghost, so invested in this one as it promised to reduce ironing time. Didn't reduce time but does iron extremely well, is really easy to use but with the huge base it is a little cumbersome, especially as the power cord is rather short.

We are a family of four, ironing is my most hated job! This product has cut the time I spend ironing in half. It never spits or leaks,it heats up really quickly and it is quick and gives really professional results. It really does live up to the manufacturers spec.

If you want to take the strain out of ironing and turn it in to pleasure, get a steam generator - tefal are the best and this one is the best of the best.

My only criticism is that I tend to iron when watching TV and when the steam comes through it is a bit noisy! But easy to use and a definite time saver.

Makes laundering sheets so much faster. Pre fold and there is enough steam power to go right through the folds with smooth result.

my previous iron could not be refilled whilst it wsas hot, so this is much better as you can keep on ironing all day long (if you would want to)The tank is easy to remove.

So many people had raved to me about steam generator irons that I thought I'd treat myself to one at the top of the range and I'm really glad I did. Whilst the appliance is rather large and a bit on the heavy side the difference it makes to the amount of time I spend ironing makes it worth it!

I like to do ironing in large batches at a time and this iron just cuts through the work. Prior to this I bought a rival brand steam generating iron and apart from it being very poor at the job, although it cost £200, it broke down after two weeks. I got my money back from that and bought this instead and it is a far superior product. It has a large water tank that lasts for about an hour, it is easy to top up, and the iron itself is very light and easy to handle. There is no shortage of steam generated and makes light work of the most heavy weight materials. It puts in the most amazing creases where needed and allows your home washed clothes to have that professional 'just back from the dry cleaners' look.I like the safety feature of closing the lid which cuts off the power, and the carry case with a handle makes it very portable.I'm sure that this iron must be at the top end of most peoples budget for what they are prepared to spend on this type of good, but believe me it is an investment that pays back dividends in the form of cutting down ironing time and giving your clothes an excellent finish.

A very good appliance that produces very good results.
Ironing does not now get any better.
Simple operation, fill up, plug in, switch on anf go.

Has improved the overall ironing time and performance.
Would recommend that these irons perform better on a steam station ironing board owing to the size and weight.
