I've been a slow-cooker fan for many years but this is the first Morphy Richards machine I've had. I'm really impressed with it, find it easy to use and easy to clean. It's only downside for me is that it only has one heat setting whilst cooking - a High and a Medium setting would be useful.

I love my slow cooker, it is really easy to use and cooks a brilliant meal every time. Only downside is that if you turn it off accidentally or want to put it on for one more hour the minimum cooking time is 4 hours. Once it has finished cooking it goes to keep warm mode automatically and keeps the food hot and ready to serve until you are ready to eat. I love being able to go out and have a great meal waiting for me when I get back and not worry about having to come home and turn it off before it overcooks. Fantastic addition to my kitchen, loved it so much I bought another one for my mum.

Small Kitchens

Could suit a casual cook, but doesn't make much diference than a pressure cooker or an oven casserole, just takes much more time... It has a timer but no "high" or "low" options which I guess would be more usefull for me. I Don't use it often. Easy to clean and use.

I was a little misled about the "timer" aspect of the cooker, as I'd imagined you could set it to start later, but after reading the directions which came with it, I realised that of course you shouldn't leave uncooked meat sitting around waiting to be cooked. It's also a pretty large applience, which is ok for me as I have a big kitchen, but might not suit someone who has less workspace and doesn't want to freeze leftover food. All in all, though, we're really happy with it and it does seem to cook even cheaper cuts of meat to perfection. A good buy.

You`ll wonder how you ever managed without a slow cooker, this one`s perfect for the larger family or if you just wish to cook and freeze. makes the cheapest cuts of meat into fantastic casseroles or curries, just set the timer and go to work, or out for the day, come home to a fantastic meal, if your late, don't worry as the stay warm function will make sure its ready when you are.
easy to clean and operate.

bought this as a christmas present for my son's family. by coincidence his wife's sister had recently bought the same model when her previous, different slow cooker broke. they had had an excellent beef in red wine sauce from her before christmas so were delighted when they opened their model. they have since used it to entertain family and friends and found it excellent.

Since slow cookers are unavailable in Sweden, we are now trying out all the recipies available, and so far we are very happy with it. [...] As for the practicalities of electrical wiring I can add that both Clas Ohlson and Kjell&Co keep swedish grounded mains to UK converters, so there was no need to void the warranty.
