Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I am very pleased with this toaster, as I have had many toasters in the last twelve months, and all have been disappointing.
I bought this one with a little dubiousness, as I had been let down with the others, and have found it to be excellent.
It toasts evenly, doesn't burn one slice and undercook the next, and has a great crumb collector at the bottom, so the crumbs do not still fall onto the worktop.
All in all 10 out of 10 for this item.
