its more or less like the normal dco7 but this dc07i
have the standard features of the Dyson DC07 which include on board tools, lifetime filters, plus brush control which enables the beater brush bar to be stopped thus being able to clean on hard floor surfaces.
Brush Control for delicate floors / hard floors
The brush control system protects rug fringes and the drive belt. The foot operated control easily turns the brush off when cleaning delicate rugs and hard floors.

so that why we bought this one as it can do more than the normal dco7, good cleaning suction power on carpets and the pipe extends for cleaning stairs and has the 3 attachments as you will see in pic
plus the 5 year warranty clinch the deal for us

Tried the rest but Dyson's best!

I found it to be a versitile excellent all round cleaner.Ok it is noisier than it's rivals but for the short time you use it you can put up with it as the noise is basically the powerfull motor cleaning the floors.

with the suction its got, it does a good job on the hardfloors
it stretches to clean to the top of the stairs
which we found was a problem with other upright cleaners that just didnt reach up half way up the stairs.
