This is a well built and extremely hansome looking machine.
It's solid metal body and gearing just make it feel like the quality product it is.
The motor is powerful and has dealt with everything that's been thrown into it.
Free attachments are great and include 2 quality baking trays in addition to the glass blender.
Only fault is the quality of the metallic paint finish which wore off after the very first use, where the slash gaurd clips onto the main chassis.
A Quality product at a great price!
Had a Chef for the past 30 years great!

A great machine very reliable never had the old one mended in 30 years. The new one the lid does not stay on very well but apart from that it is great.
This is the third so it must be good

As well as cake making I use it for mashing potatoes. I dont use the liquidiser too much as I find it fiddly and not too efficient

Disappointed with standard of finish on an otherwise good Kenwood chef. I also wonder how long the plastic covers will last as the plastic is rigid ( splatterguard and shredder top). Does not cream 4oz butter effectively. [...]

An excellent bit of kit for the money. Yes, I am sure then Kenwood Major models are better, but as far as bang for your buck goes you just can't beat this! Perfect for any home kitchen. Simply drop 500g flour, 1 tsp salt and a 7g packet of dried yeast into the bowl. Stick it on minimum speed and slowly pour in 300ml of water! The machine does the rest. After 5 minutes in the mixer with the dough hook on, shape into a loaf tin or baking tray and leave in a warm place for 2 hours! In the oven on 230C for 30 minutes... and there you have it! Lovely warm fresh bread!
