Excellent vacuum, not to cumbersome, appears well screwed together unlike previous Dyson. Quiet operation. Only downside will be buying bags.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I got this as a replacement for my Dyson DC05 which recently died. This Miele is so much better. It is quiet and efficient. After the convenience of a bagless Dyson, the only thing I don't like about the Miele is having to change the dust bag. But if that's the price to pay for having a lovely machine that actually works, then hey.
