The Palson Induction hob is a revolution in table top cooking. First featured on the TV shopping channels this product sold thousands in it's first airing. So here it is at a discount from the TV price from us! Induction cookers use magnetic forces to cook safely and highly efficiently while the surface of the cooker remains cool. This method of cooking will only work with induction hob suitable cookware like cast iron pans and some stainless steel ones. Aluminium pans are not suitable for this cooker. Electronic temperature selector. Digital timer. Warning system for non-compatible accessories. Automatic cut-off. Heating surface diameter 12-26 cm. Scratch-resistant glass.

as i already owned one i bought this one for my sister, she carries it between home and the holiday caravan she has, she loves to use it in both places. so fast and very efficient

Great to clean, and very quick with the cooking, my only complaint is it is a bit noisy when in use.

This hob is excellent, however the top does get hot and you certainly wouldn't put your hand on it as they do on the TV advertisment.
You will need good quality saucepans with a thick bottom. Le Creuset pans and Wok appear to be well suited.
Temperature of Wok exceeds any other heating item I have used before and you really can seal meat in seconds, plus cooking stir fries actually means you can fry large amount of vegatables and get good crispy results.
I would recommend this Hob and would now consider changing my old Gas hob for a full induction unit.
