Roomba is vacuming every working day, while I am at the office and this is the best solution for me.
When I come back, my flat is clean.
Only drawback is that I have to prepare the flat a little (like moving chairs etc.). Otherwise it will not clean under the table. I would need to do it for manual cleaning as well, so it is not a big problem.
Roomba is quite noisy if You would like to use it while You are watching TV, or something, so I do not like to use it while I am home.
Summing up, I like my Roomba, since I only mop my flat, not vacuming it any more - this is Roomba task.

I've got 2 dogs & it picks up the dog hairs as well as any vac I've ever had, but does it while I'm out walking the dogs. Brilliant!

I bought this product to keep our office floor clean. With a high footfall we needed to keep the carpet clean each evening and with iRoomba 560 life became simple with an easy programme work week. This vacuum charges itself, cleans the carpet itself and goes back to base to recharge itself for the next day's activities. The only thing you have to do is empty the machine the next morning. We are going to buy a second soon and one is on the Christmas list for home too.

I was watching this for a while, and as the price dropped and the problems were ironed out I decided to purchase. I would definitely recommend one - we have a cat and our Roomba is scheduled to clean the sitting room and hall three times a week. Excellent floor coverage, and really cleans the floors well. Only downside is the brushes / filter needs regular cleaning. Small price to pay for such clean floors.
I now have a side-line in bringing Roomba to friends' / relatives' houses for demonstrations !

This excellent product allows me to not worry about dust & dirt everyday. It runs while I'm at work and lets me come home to clean floors every day. The job scheduler is an absolute blessing, as is the capability to return home to the base station and recharge if it can't get done on a single charge.
As said - it does the job well, and will do surprisingly well in corners and other hard-to-reach places. However, one thing to absolutely avoid are loose cables lying around. Something like a cellphone charger with the cable left on the floor can (and most often, will) be found in a completely different place than where you left it, tangled in the Roomba's brushes. Fortunately, I've yet to see it break something permanently - all you have to do is disentagle it, and it'll run again. And for next time - use the smart virtual walls to keep it away from said cables.
All in all, an excellent product, although it will not entirely render your current vacuum obsolete - you will need to do it the old-fashioned way every once in a while, if for nothing else then just to convince yourself of how good a job the Roomba otherwise does.

I use the IRobot on vinyl, carpets, tiles.
It cleans vinyl and tiles well but it often leaves bits behind on carpets.
Dog hair is very hard to clean from brushes.

Runns every day and there are no dog hairs around anymore.

I have five cats which cause a lot of cat hair. My entire ground floor is solid hardwood/tiled and this little machine saves me a lot of time every day. It is not so good at picking up cat hairs from carpets so the cats are excluded from the bedrooms. Easy to empty and clean the brush and filter. My daughters both think it sounds great so I am thinking of getting the one each for Christmas.

Roomba started off well, but after a few days did not want to return to its dock. ElectricShopping.com's aftersales was very helpful, sending another dock, but this also did not work. If was necessary to wait for a new delivery of Roombas to arrive before a replacement came that worked o.k. Roomba does not like rugs with tassels, but works well in general. We use it mainly on hardwood floors and would have considered the Scoomba floor washing robot, had this been available at the time.
Quite happy with Roomba though, who is now a member of the family - our cat sleeps next to him, curled-up.

Like any household pet it has its moments of misbehaving, like closing the door & locking itself in the kitchen so it couldn't find its way back to its charger base. Just be aware that you WILL end up talking to this thing- which can't be a good thing!!!

if you ever find yourself too bored to vacuum clean then roomba is for you :P
i followed the development of roomba since its early days but only now decided that its mature enough to come into my home.
you have to try it to believe how good it works!

Well, saw the other positive reviews on this site and ordered one hoping that it would live up to our expectations, and it is absolutely brilliant!
Having plugged it in and charged it up, we set it off around our hardwood-floored bungalow, setting up a sentry virtual wall to keep it out of the wet bathroom.... what a revelation! It doesn't appear to have a huge capacity, and it is certainly nowhere near as noisy as a conventional vacuum cleaner, but with its set of brushes, bristles and its lifting foot it navigate around the place, buffing the floors to a dust-free sheen unlike any they've experienced since we moved in a short while ago.
My wift is disabled, so the ability for her to just set this off and sit transfixed by its hypnotic cleaning is an extremely useful feature - you can do clever stuff with the virtual walls to make it clean your rooms in sequence, and then return to base, or just cordon off entire areas.
If you are teetering on the brink of making a decision about this, I recommend you give it a go - it has made this place dust free and buff-shiny!

Excellent machine much improved over previous model.Lighthouses work very well.Kinder to furniture as it now slows down before hitting obstacles.

Well husband and friends all laughed at the idea, but now the roomba is like a little family pet and my friends all want one too! I set it up to hoover our family room and kitchen every day while I'm at work (They are the two most heavily used rooms in the house by 3 cats, 2 children & 2 adults) Then I come home to spotless floors, simple as that.

I absolutely love my Roomba 560. It cleans efficiently - upstairs and down. It is also quiet. It is an absolute boon - especially as I have just broken a leg!! I have also persuaded two others to buy the Roomba (from your store!). Thanks again.
